Locarno and Cottbus join as partners of 3. New Horizons Studio. First speakers confirmed

Locarno and Cottbus join Transylvania, Indie Lisboa and Cinessonne as festival partners for the third edition of the training event held at the Wrocław's T-Mobile New Horizons IFF.

The third edition of the event will be held on 23-26 July 2012. This year, 14 Polish participants, among them directors, producers, DOPs, writers and composers, will be selected from submissions. Further 10 persons from abroad will be selected by partner festivals.

The New Horizons Studio gives young professionals an opportunity to talk about promotion, film marketing, sales, pitching, networking and festival strategy.

So far the following speakers have been confirmed: Agathe Valentin - Head of Sales at Films du Losange (workshop on film sales and marketing), Mathilde Henrot - co-founder of Festivalscope (workshop on festivals and networking), and two regular collaborators of London Film Academy: Ivana MacKinnon (production) and David Pope (pitching).

The workshop's programme is created by the New Horizons team, in cooperation with Hayet Benkara, Media Desk Poland and London Film Academy. The event is kindly supported by T-Mobile.
